DR is easy to play at a below-average skillset and still kill people with - hence why it's popular - but that also makes it easy to kill those self-same DRs. It's strong, possibly the strongest class in the game for it's role, but its not immortal. That being said - DR is not the god class people pretend it is.
Even cloth defense classes like DB / SK have a shot at winning against a DR, you know how many dudes I've seen who carry Retribution and never even use it ? How many SKs I've seen not keep mire up on cooldown and not thwart in melee range? That's not DRs being OP - that's them being bad. Shadowblade should kill DR every time, but its possible for DRs to kill the SB in one combo chain if they get lucky so it's sometimes hit or miss. Should lose to dr with similar gear.Īnything without defense its a measure of situation, skill, and ping.
